It was very exciting to make our first foray into Africa. I was only in Cape Town for a few days but managed to fit in a trip to the SOS village. Having the SOS Children’s villages in over 130 countries, I decided this should pave the way into those where we aren’t familiar and can grow contacts.

They welcomed us warmly and it was my first show without Bow for help. Set with Table Mountain as a backdrop the kids had a great time trying something different. Hopefully it gave them some ideas for their upcoming talent show they were holding at the end of the week.

After our initial contact, with help from a friend who has been building some of the villages, we have been invited back to visit more in the rest of the country.
